Undrafted 6th year defenseman Danny Fick(5) leaves North American pro hockey for a 2nd time signing a one-year deal with Nottingham Panthers of the EIHL for 2019/2020.
He initially left as a rookie skater playing 24 games for Manglerud of GET-ligaen before arriving in West Virginia in 2015/2016, where he’s stayed and was team captain last season scoring a new best 6 goals and 25 assists for 31 points.
The 5’11” 181 lbs. was never much of a point getter through four years at Harvard University but has been loaned up twice to the AHL, where he played a stay-at-home style.
At 28-years old, it’s likely time for him to explore some for future hockey homes and it would be little surprise to see him keep scoring.
