Philadelphia Flyers‘ 5th year Czech Republic-born, 5th round pick in the 2015 draft (#128 overall) right wing David Kase(38) earns a 1st recall after skating hard for affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms scoring 3 goals and 3 assists in the AHL.
He skated decent minutes in each outing and grabs a 1st NHL goal in his fourth game.
Signed to a 3-year entry level deal, he already had a few seasons of experience, first a couple of campaigns at home in Czech Tipsport Extraliga and Czech2, then one SHL year with Mora IK before heading over.
The 5’11” 170 lbs. forward plays a very in the mix style that may not always show up on the scoresheet but is effective at agitating opposing players.
At 22-years old he still has one more season left in his deal but looks to be occupying more time up in the big league as he continues to gain his footing.
