Undrafted 4th year defenseman Davis Vandane(3) takes a couple of solid seasons in the ECHL over to Slovak Tipsport Extraliga signing for 2018/2019 with HKM Zvolen.
He’s thus far spent his entire pro career of 175 games in the league scoring 19 goals and 51 assists.
The big 6’4″ 210 lbs. blue liner played three campaigns in the WHL with a few different clubs attaining 20+ assists twice before deciding to head off to University Of Calgary for a couple years.
At 26 years old it’s likely he will find good success in the very decent Slovakia hockey but might not stay there if he’s able to connect with some new career high numbers and play an accountable game in the zone.
