Devin-Mantha10

After a 5th campaign for Mississippi RiverKings scoring a season high 22 goals and 36 assists for 58 points in 56 SPHL games, left wing Devin Mantha decides to take an assistant coaching job with Brookings Blizzard of the NAHL to pursue his hockey future, a decision possibly more quickly facilitated as the team ceased operations after 2017/2018.

He joins his dad, who is the head coach for the team.

The decently sized forward finishes with 226 games in the league and 51 ECHL contests over two stints, first with Norfolk Admirals (5-5-10) through 26 contests and in 2016/2017 for Fort Wayne Komets (2-4-6) and he leaves with a +4 rating to boot.

At 29-years old he’s likely made himself a good decision to switch gears.
