Trinity College Bantams‘ sophomore goaltender Devon Bobak(39) scores 2024 Joe Concannon Award as best D3 player in New England for his spectacular efforts stopping what was a good 24-3-1 record, but 1.20 GAA is mind-blowing with .940 SV%.

He then days later adds the 2023/2024 Sid Watson Award, given to the top voted Division III player.

The very large 6’4″ 190 lbs. net minder from Northwood, OH started slowly from playing youth hockey with Toledo Cherokee up to their USPHL Premier team before leaving for Compuware 18U, where his game would develop and he would move up to Twin City Thunder.

We think it was maybe his playoff performance that caught the eye of Shreveport Mud Bugs, who signed him and watched him embark on an NAHL 27-11-4 record with a 2.09 GAA and .921 SV%.

It would be fire-able if NHL scouts didn’t have this one on their radar for a development camp invite and D1 teams should be leaning in, asking questions.

We wait, we watch as he looks to win a title 1st.
