9th year right wing Dmitrij Jaskin(23) is not tendered a qualifying offer fromĀ Washington Capitals after appearing in a complete season low 37 games getting only 2 goals and 6 assists.
He was picked up on waivers at the beginning of last campaign.
Following 5 years in draft club St. Louis Blues‘ system (the only team heĀ ever had a contract with), he asked to be traded following the 2017/2018 campaign that saw him play a career high 76 NHL games and get new best 11 assists but has not scored like he did as a rookie, when he netted 14 goals.
He leaves to head back to Russia signing a one-year deal with UHC Dynamo Moskva after skating 303 games (27-42-69 with a +12 rating) in the big league.
The 26-year old should do very well in the KHL.
