Providence College Friars roll into town as an NCAA Division 1 highly ranked Hockey East team, but they are coming up against what in 2021/2022 is a very tough to play against Merrimack College Crusaders and the home team takes the first of the home-home series 3-2.
They went out into the lead off a goal from junior defenseman Declan Carlile(3), who is having a career year, early in the 3rd and held on tight for the shocking win.
