New Jersey Devils‘ 5th round pick in the 2017 draft (#129 overall) Swiss-born 4th year net minder Gilles Senn(31) has already found his way between the pipes for the big club and didn’t exactly have a bad showing in a pair of appearances.
The towering 6’5″ 202 lbs. goalie has been decently consistent with affiliate Binghamton Devils posting a 7-5-2 record with a 3.06 GA and .891 SV% in 15 AHL games on what’s been the definition of a hot and cold club.
He comes over having played three full seasons for HC Davos of NLA, where he definitely started to hone his craft.
The 23-year old is considered a rookie in North America and still has another year in his entry level contract, so easily may compete for that top job, which appears to be somewhat vacant.
