University Of Vermont Catamounts‘ senior captain center Jacques Bouquot(17) enters the transfer portal to take on a new hockey experience for his graduate season at Penn State University Nittany Lions.
The 6’1″ 185 lbs. forward leaves with a college best 16 points and tied his junior high of 6.
A native of Columbus, OH, he played his one campaign of junior hockey up north in the BCHL, running up decent points for Chilliwack Chiefs after a trade sent him there.
The 23-year old may find a little more room to score playing Big Ten hockey.
He does get the room and pots a new college high 12 goals, 15 assists and 27 points to sign a pto deal with Lehigh Valley Phantoms and will report to affiliate Reading Royals to start.
