The 24-year old, former 1st round draft pick leaves with only 43 games in the big league to his credit and signs with Neftekhimik Nichnekamsk, where he was retained for only 7 games before being cut.

Next signing an AHL contract with Charlotte Checkers he skated 6 games for 1 assist and has been sidelined with an injury since.
