Undrafted 6th year left wing Lane Scheidl(21) takes 271 ECHL games over to Slovak’s Tipsport Extraliga agreeing to terms with HK Nitra for 2018/2019.
He was able to score 79 goals and 86 assists mostly skating for Kalamazoo Wings with 2016/2017 being his best run of 51 points.
The 6′ 200 lbs. forward was a solid scorer in his last pair of WHL seasons for Regina Pats, where he was an over a point-per-game performer in his final year before signing an ato with Worcester Sharks.
He would also skate for the team as a rookie but found himself in and out of the lineup.
The 26-year old should do well overseas and very well could play himself up the hockey ladder in Europe.
