5th year left wing Matt Gaudreau(40) only played one game midway through in his final season of pro hockey, as he had already stepped into the assistant coaching job with the Philadelphia Hockey Club‘s NCDC and USPHL Premiere teams.
For 2022/2023, he stays relatively close to home, Carneys Point Township, NJ accepting a job to join Philadelphia Rebels of the NAHL in a similar role to what he’s had.
The very small 5’9″ 137 lbs. forward was a point-per-game scorer in the ECHL, when he left the game.
A standout as a senior at Boston College Eagles, he went undrafted, but is definitely off on a path that will easily lead to a bright hockey future.
