Undrafted 2nd year right wing Matt Marcinew(22) gets loaned up to Springfield Thunderbirds a couple months in from 2nd season contract club Manchester Monarchs and sticks a pin in it on the last day of January, AHL.
In 23 games he’s scored 3 goals and 7 assists with a +2 rating and those numbers look to be headed in the right direction.
The former University Of Denver assistant captain for the 2017 NCAA Champions win looks to be making it happen but this time on a personal level.
Being from Calgary originally, he also spent time scoring in the AJHL with a couple teams pre school.
He’s not very big at 5’9″ 170 lbs. but easily plays larger than that ever shift.
At 25-year old he’d be an unrestricted free agent pretty much anywhere he goes next and is hoping to write that ticket.
