Undrafted 4th year center Nick Huard(40) decides to stay on for a second season with Dresdner Eislowen after scoring a very decent 19 goals and 22 assists in 51 DEL2 games.
The 5’9″ 181 lbs. forward has been able to mark up the scoresheet effectively in 3 years of MJAHL then 3 campaigns at University Of Guelph but was less successful in one try at the QMJHL.
He turned pro after finishing up school signing an ato with Cincinnati Cyclones and put up 3 goals and 3 assists in 13 ECHL games, then re-signed heading into his rookie season.
It was in 2015/2016, when he had his best success with a career high 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points and led the league with 15 power play tallies.
The 27-year old seems comfortable in Germany’s tier 2 but it seems like if he can string together another successful run will be elevated to the next level.
