Merrimack College Warriors‘ Swedish-born, junior net minder Nils Wallstrom(34) got no use last season, as the college team rode 1 goalie the entire distance to an NCAA Tournament berth.

For his senior year, he enters the transfer portal to next go try his hand at Sacred Heart University Pioneers, 2026/2027.

The 6’3″ 185 lbs. goalie played his freshman season, starting 33 games (19-12-2) for American International College Yellowjackets before they ditched their program in favor of D3.

After youth hockey and some juniors back home, he came over for 1 NAHL session with good results.
