5th year Czech Republic-born center Pavel Jenys(20) heads back home to his original club HC Kometa Brno after the three year entry level deal signed with original draft team Minnesota Wild (7th round, 2014, #199 overall) but under guidance from Los Angeles Kings after an early season trade in the final campaign of his contract sent him there.
The big 6’3″ 218 lbs. forward only played one AHL game for affiliate Ontario Reign, spending most of his playing time with Allen Americans and Manchester Monarchs, where he was a point-per-game skater during the regular season, then added another 3 goals and 6 assists in 10 playoff contests.
He’s spent most of his time in the ECHL but heading back to Tipsport Czech Extraliga, a league he’s already familiar with from a single season before heading over to play some junior hockey in the OHL, the 23-year old will be able to take his game to another level and may continue to look for better hockey or stay close to where he knows.
