12th year center Peter Mueller(88) is enjoying a very successful run in his 2nd season overseas since signing a one-year two-way deal with 2016/2017 Boston Bruins that found him mostly skating for affiliate Providence Bruins (13-12-25), his first foray in the AHL.
Those numbers exactly equaled what he posted the year prior, his only campaign in the SHL with Malmo Redhawks.
For 2017/2018, he decided to go a bit of a less competitive route agreeing to terms with EC Salzburg of EBEL, where he struck for 14 goals and 28 assists with a +14 rating, then added another 19 points in 19 playoff contests.
This venture brought him up a level to the Czech Tipsport Extraliga as he signed for 2018/2019 to HC Kometa Brno.
The decently sized forward struck gold here grabbing a tied for career best 24 goals and 21 assists.
At 30-years old he’s been rewarded for his efforts with a nice 2-year extension through 2020/2021.
