10th year center Philip McRae(14) signs to Orli Znojmo of EBEL for 2019/2020 after a season which he seemed to struggle on the scoresheet with Schwenninger Wild Wings (5-7-12).
He took a season back in North America with Hartford Wolf Pack playing a career high, full schedule of 76 AHL games but decided on a return to Liiga for the follow-up campaign.
The 29-year old will likely find scoring easier in Austria’s top league and may just stick there until he retires but could also come back, wooed by a coaching opportunity.
