New York Rangers‘ 6th year left wing Phillip Di Giuseppe(33) has played big league games in each of his pro seasons after his rookie campaign and scores a 2nd recall and first appearance after striking for 14 goals and 12 assists in 43 AHL games with a +10 rating for affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack.
He’s appeared in 151 NHL games, mostly with draft club Carolina Hurricanes (round 2 in 2012, #38 overall) but also played 3 contests for Nashville Predators after being claimed off waivers.
The 6′ 193 lbs. forward has never exactly been a crazy goal scorer but definitely shows flashes as he did in three years at University Of Michigan, where he put up 10+ assists in each frame and average 10+ goals per session.
At 26-years old, he is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the current calendar and will need to prove he can connect to earn another deal.
