New York Rangers‘ rookie defenseman Ryan Lindgren(55) has been doing an effective job for affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack, as the team has struggled to cobble together wins.
In 37 AHL games he has 5 assists with a +5 rating on a club that does all they can do to stay above the .500 mark.
His play earned him a 1st NHL recall and in three games he skated roughly 19 shifts per appearance for just short of an average of 14 minutes with 6 penalty minutes, 3 shots, 9 hits, 4 play breakups and 1 giveaway in a more importantly 3 victories.
The almost 21-year old high draft selection spent just under a week up with the big club and was returned as they head into the All-Star break but should be summoned back up quickly.
