Boston Bruins‘ 9th year defenseman Steve Kampfer(44) scored a 1st NHL Stanley Cup Playoff goal recently in only his 2nd ever game in the postseason.

Picked up in a trade with New York Rangers as the new session was set to begin, it was a return for the 30-year old, who signed with the team as a rookie and was with them when they raised their last Cup in 2011.

He’s set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the current campaign but looks like the veteran of 201 games played could either stay or get scooped by another club early summer.
