6th year right wing Steve Moses(11) started 2017/2018 under a one-year deal with Rochester Americans, which had him return to North America for a 2nd time in two years from the KHL.
He came back the first time under a one-year, one-way deal from Nashville Predators after leading the top Russian league in scoring, but lasted only 16 games with affiliate Milwaukee Admirals before deciding to leave, signing for the remainder of the calendar with SKA St. Petersburg.
The smallish, fast forward stayed on for a 2nd season.
He recorded a decent 7 goals and 9 assists in 29 games with a -5 rating with his AHL club but was maybe not the happiest of campers and opted out of his deal to once again skate for the team he’d had his best success with, Jokerit.
The 28-year old agreed to a 3-year contract that should see him once again reclaim that scoring touch and put him back on top of his game.

Undrafted, MA-born right wing Steve Moses(14) signed an ato with Connecticut Whale as his four year college career wound down.
At 5’9″ 170 lbs., the 22-year old is more of a water bug style player than power forward but he puts it all out there when he plays and has some nifty stick handling ability that only usually only a smaller player can achieve.
On Friday night, in the team’s shootout loss, instead of just putting up his first pro goal he managed to score two in 7 minutes.
Through 7 games, he has those two goals and zero assists but is a healthy +2 on the ice.
What we’re wondering is did he keep both pucks from the game and will he earn himself an invite to New York Rangers‘ camp in the summer and early fall for the 2012/2013 season.
