Undrafted 3rd year center Steve Swavely(11) signed with hometown club Reading Royals as training camps were set to get under way for the new season.
It is a team he was very familiar with from playing 78 ECHL games for on reassignment.
The 6’1″ 190 lbs. forward appeared in another 26 games with them to start 2018/2019 picking up a best 12 goals and 16 assists before being loaned up to Lehigh Valley Phantoms, who he was signed to as a rookie and 2nd year player.
In 9 AHL contests he has 4 assists, including a 3 helper effort in his third game to help solidify a spot.
Taking a bit of an odd route to grab a four-year acceptance at University Of Maine, he had three explosive campaigns in tier three juniors.
