UMASS-Lowell Riverhawks‘ senior, assistant captain defenseman T.J. Schweighardt(55) signs a 1st pro deal with Iowa Heartlanders.
The 5’11” 185 lbs. hard-hitting blue liner had a college best 4 goals and 13 assists in his final frame.
He’s off to a good start, in 12 games has a 1st ECHL goals and 4 assists with a 0 rating on a non-playoff team.
From Wayne, NJ, the 24-year will need a new deal going forward.
