4th year defenseman Travis Brown(45) signs for 2018/2019 with San Antonio Rampage after posting a career high 10 goals and 26 assists in 67 ECHL games for Wichita Thunder.
Originally a Chicago Blackhawks‘ 5th round pick in the 2012 draft (#149 overall) he was never signed and instead agreed to terms as a rookie with St. John’s IceCaps.
He also appeared in parent team Montreal Canadiens‘ training camps but was ultimately released.
As a sophomore skater he inked with San Jose Barracuda but was reassigned to affiliate Allen Americans for all but one game in the higher league.
The 24-year old will no doubt need a strong showing early with his new club to stick.
