Worcester Railers‘ rookie right wing Wade Murphy(12) scores the first goal in franchise history at the 10:13 mark of the first period to open the scoring in a 4-3 hometown team win in front of 12,135 at the DCU Center over rivals Manchester Monarchs.
He started his pro career on an ato with the opponents late last season after a pair of campaigns at Arizona State University and University Of North Dakota scoring 2 goals and 4 assists in 14 ECHL games.
The 6′ 190 lbs. forward was a Nashville Predators‘ 7th round pick in the 2013 draft (#185 overall) but never signed.
The almost 24-year old is off to a nice start with his new club.
