St. Anselm College Hawks‘ giant 6’5″ 229 lbs. junior defenseman Will van der Veen(23) came over from almost no use at Bowdoin College Polar Bears.

He has skated 27 games, scoring 5 goals and 6 assists with a +7 rating.

From Duxbury, MA, the 20-year old scored big 1 season in high school.

At this point, he is playing as hard as he can trying to take his team as far as it can go NE 10 playoffs.

For his rookie season, he signed with Evansville Thunderbolts and did well enough to earn a 4 game loan up.

Worcester Railers were watching and sign him for 2026/2027.
