Zach-Senyshyn

Boston Bruins‘ 1st round pick in the 2015 draft (#15 overall) 2nd year right wing Zach Senyshyn(19) gets an emergency recall and jumps right in for his first game in the big league.

In his debut he skated 16 shifts for 12:41 total ice firing 4 shots on net, 1 hit and left a 3-0 victory with a +1 rating and his first NHL goal, an empty-netter.

The very decently-sized 6’1″ 192 lbs. forward isn’t exactly lighting it up for affiliate Providence Bruins but does have a new career high 14 AHL goals and very close to best 10 assists and 24 points, so maybe not blowing up the stat sheet, but seen as learning and effective.

He did have a pair of huge campaigns in his final years of junior hockey with Soo Greyhounds scoring two 40+ goal and 20+ assist for back-t0-back 65 point OHL seasons.

The 22-year old is only in the 2nd year of his entry level deal that had two slides to begin the term and may just quietly find himself a spot on the roster.
