University Of Maine Black Bears‘ junior right wing Josh Nadeau(83) had point-per-game numbers, 17 goals, 13 assists in 30 games last season that he takes to signing a 1-year AHL deal with Laval Rocket for 2026/2027, but joins them immediately on an ato.
The 5’9″ 170 lbs. forward had 2 killer sessions with Penticton Vees, winning back-to-back 2022/2023 BCHL Championships.
From St. Francois-de-Madawaska, QC, the 22-year old may have seen an opportunity here to sign early and in 2 games to start, grabbed an assist.

Western New England University Golden Bears‘ sophomore defenseman Samuel Logan(15) potentially is thinking he isn’t playing enough, enters the transfer portal to skate at the new D3 school, American International College Yellowjackets, 2026/2027 as a junior.
The 6′ 194 lbs. blue liner did 1 EHL junior season before college.
From Wethersfield, CT, the 22-year old should see more ice time.

Castleton University Spartans‘ senior defenseman Cedrick Theodore(92) took a college best scoring 2 goals and 5 assists in 21 games to a 1st pro contract with Blue Ridge Bobcats.
In 5 FPHL games, he doesn’t have any points, but is also a 0 rating on a non-playoff team.
From Montreal, QC, the 25-year old will need a contract for 2026/2027.

Clarkson University Golden Knights‘ freshman defenseman William-Charles Bishop(26) scored 1 goal and 4 assists in 31 games last year, but maybe wanted something a little more and enters the transfer portal and will next play his college hockey at St. Lawrence University Skating Saints, 2026/2027.
The 6′ 201 lbs. blue liner did 4 years QMJHL, recording 35 assists in his final frame before coming to college.
From Baie d’Urfee, QC, the 22-year old may do better with the opposing ECAC team.

Johnstown Tomahawks‘ strong scoring forward Jason Ahearn(10) choose Niagara University for his college hockey and further academic development.
He’s struck for 23 goals and 26 assists in 41 NAHL games with a +23 rating on a really good team.
The 5’11” 170 lbs. pivot should have equal success in NCAA Division 1 Atlantic Hockey, when he arrives later this year.
After 3 seasons, twice as captain with new college best numbers, 19 goals and 20 assists in 36 games with a +6 rating as a junior, but he will enter the transfer portal and next looks to skate Hockey East with UMASS-Lowell Riverhawks in 2025/2026.
He comes away with 13 goals and 6 assists in 35 games and it was likely a little harder than where he came from, but he managed to be a good contributor that he takes to a 1st pro contract with Indy Fuel.
In 8 games, he comes away with a 1st ECHL goal and 3 assists with a +2 rating, but will need a new deal for 2026/2027.

Simon Fraser University Red Leafs‘ freshman left wing Ridge Dawson(10) had to pick a new school, as his was going belly up after 2026/2027 and commits to the new D1 program at Maryville University Saints, as a sophomore in 2026/2027.
The 5’8″ 156 lbs. forward did 4 BCHL years with Trail Smoke Eaters, serving as captain in his last frame, scoring 40+ points 2 seasons in a row.
He had 4 goals and 3 assists in 20 games last year.
From Kelona, BC, the 22-year old will likely continue to pick up the pace with his new club.

Northeast Generals‘ 2nd year left wing Spencer Hirsch(21) scored an NAHL junior best 15 goals in 41 games last season, then added another 3 points in the playoffs before being eliminated.
