Lindenwood University Lions‘ senior captain, left wing Drew Kuzma(20) wasn’t the biggest college hockey scorer, doing best as a sophomore with 4 goals and 6 assists in 25 games.

Upon completion of the indie tournament, the big 6’6″ 218 lbs. forward signs a 1st pro deal with Greensboro Gargoyles.

From St. Albert, AB, the 23-year old did his juniors in the SJHL before college and has scored 5 goals and 3 assists in 13 ECHL games with a +1 on a non-playoff team.

He will need a new deal for 2026/2027.

 

Providence Bruins welcome in 2nd year right wing Jimmy Lambert(7) after scoring 11 goals and 13 assists in 27 games with a +6 rating on reassignment with Worcester Railers from contract club, Bridgeport Islanders.

He scored 1 goal and 6 assists in 33 games up with a +1.

The 6′ 176 lbs. former University Of Michigan Wolverines wasn’t a huge scorer at school.

Originally from Newcastle, GBR, the 26-year old could see time playing for rival Maine Mariners.

In 21 ECHL games this season, he’s tied his 13 assists, but will still need to add on tallies to his 4 to get him past those pretty amazing marks of 11 as a rookie.

He does well last season, tying his goals at 11 and 23 assists is a new career league best.

Though he appears in only 10 AHL games, he is wanted to return to continue and work on his game.

Mostly dispatched to Maine, he is scoring on a point-per-game pace and decides to branch out for some more difficult hockey in DEL and agrees to terms with Grizzlys Wolfsburg.

After 14 games with 2 goals and 4 assists, he is liked and asked to return for 2025/2026 as a Grizzlys.

He has a really good full frame with the team, scoring 11 goals and 14 assists in 38 games with a +7 rating, but decides to sign with rivals, Augsburger Panther for 2026/2027.

Fitchburg State University Falcons‘ senior goalie Max Macchioni(30), as a junior helped his team in a big way win the 2025 MASCAC Championship, as best team in the hockey conference.

The 6′ 190 lbs. net minder after USHS-Prep bounced around a few junior teams before picking his school.

From North Kingstown, RI, the 26-year old signs a 1st pro deal with Blue Ridge Bobcats and tends net for 8 SPHL games, but somehow comes away with only a 2-0 record.

He will need a new deal for 2026/2027.

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs‘ 2nd year defenseman Benjamin Lindberg(29) was twice loaned up to the ECHL and in 3 games to end the 2025/2026 with Tahoe Lake Monsters scored 1 assist in with a +3 rating.

The 6’3″ 194 lbs. blue liner turned pro, leaving 1 year on the table at Morrisville State College Mustangs, but was also not playing a full slate in any frame.

From East Aurora, NY, the 26-year old we feel will play himself up on a more permanent basis.

12th year left wing Mike Connolly(22) will spend an 8th season in a Straubing Tigers‘ uniform.

The 5’9″ 181 lbs. forward had his best year scoring 19 goals and 53 points in 2021/2022.

He has 5 times put up 30+ assists for this team.

The top scorer in his 3 campaigns at University Of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs, hitting 54 points in 42 NCAA Division 1 games as a senior.

He only played 2 sessions in the AHL and did appear in 2 NHL games with Colorado Avalanche after a rookie trade sent him away from San Jose Sharks‘ system.

At 33-years old, the Calgary, AB native has to be pretty happy about how his pro hockey life is still going.

He scores 16 goals and 22 assists in 50 DEL games last season and yup, will return for a 9th season in a Tigers‘ jersey.

2024/2025 will be his 10th season in a Straubing uniform, coming after a 34 assist, 45 point season.

Well, after 11 frames in the same uniform for the Tigers‘, he decides it’s time to stop playing pro hockey and should honestly be absorbed behind the bench where he is.

Franklin Pierce University Ravens‘ senior defenseman, captain Douglas McGuire(2) scores a college best 6 goals and 15 assists last season.

The 5’10” 170 lbs. blue liner did 1 season of juniors before school and won the 2022 EHL Championship.

From Elk Grove Village, IL, the 24-year old signs a 1st pro deal with Monroe Mocassins.

In 8 FPHL games, he has no points, but is a +1 rating and will need a new deal for 2026/2027.
