Wentworth Institute Of Technology Leopards‘ graduate center Brendan Young(18) posted a new college best 6 assists and 12 points this season after transferring in for a year of eligibility from 4 years at SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinals.

The 5’9″ 181 lbs. forward played 2 years of junior hockey, blowing the lid off scoring in NOJHL for Blind River Beavers.

From Lefoy, ON, it would be little surprise to see the 25-year old look for what could be next.

Salve Regina University Seahawks‘ senior captain right wing/defenseman Jonny Mulera(22) comes up 1 goal short to equal his college career bests scoring as a junior of 13 goals and 18 assists.

He was just 1 off at 12 and 18 this regular season.

The 5’8″ 165 lbs. forward came down from 2 years at University Of Maine Black Bears, where he figured into games as a sophomore, but maybe Hockey East wasn’t the right fit.

From Rockville, MD, the 24-year old did all his USPHL/NCDC junior hockey time with Junior Bruins looks content playing his game out there.

Post University Eagles‘ junior goaltender Zach Richards(30) transferred 2 years ago from Neumann University Knights after his freshman season and started a college career best 12 games in 2023/2024.

The 6′ 194 lbs. net minder has played on a college team that struggled to win games, but always gives the effort and keeps his stats respectable.

From Hampstead, MD, the 23-year old skated with the Team Maryland club through youth hockey, stayed through 2 EHL seasons before heading to school, and we think looks to have a better senior outing.

Worcester State University Lancers‘ graduate captain, center Mikey Wilson(23) may not have appeared in as many games this season (12), as he did in the past, but is still on pace as he was as a senior for point-per-game numbers.

He’s at 3 goals and 8 assists currently.

The 5’9″ 162 lbs. forward actually started his college career at Becker College Hawks until that school collapsed.

A Washington, DC native, the 25-year old had 2 solid sessions with Springfield Jr. Pics, amassing 42 assists in 44 USPHL Premier games in his 2nd frame.

Salve Regina University Seahawks‘ senior goaltender Cayden Bailey(35) transferred from almost no use at Michigan Tech University Huskies.

The 5’11” 181 lbs. net minder played 3 years of junior hockey, mostly notably his last one for Lone Star Brahmas, posting a 20-5-2 record with a 1.32 GAA and .940 in 30 NAHL games.

In 21 games in the current frame, the 24-year old has 2.26 GAA and a .931 SV%.

It will be interesting to see what the Estero, FL native decides next, but he’s stepped back into his game nicely despite time off playing and at least looks like he’s having some fun out there.

Stonehill College Skyhawks‘ 2023/2024 team averted a very bad outcome of being the worst team to play an NCAA Division 1 schedule by winning their final game, a 1-29 record, at home Bridgewater Ice Arena 4-2 over Lindenwood University Lions, who crushed them stunningly 10-1 the previous evening.

Freshman right wing, Jake LaRusso(48) netted 2, including the game-winner, his 3rd of the current frame.

This game was certainly a triumph and proved something this team knew all along: they could win.

Undrafted 4th year right wing Brian Bowen(21) re-signs with Fayettesville Marksmen for 2021/2022 after spending last season away with rivals Macon Mayhem.

The 6′ 220 lbs. forward had his best scoring frame with the team in 2019/2020, pocketing 30 goals and 28 assists for 58 points with a +27 rating in 46 SPHL games.

He also didn’t do so badly in the one weirdo 2020/2021 session away (18-12-30 in 28 games +16).

The former 3-year University Of Vermont Catamounts‘ initially left school and joined Worcester Railers for 11 ECHL games, getting 3 goals and an assist.

He’s been loaned up a couple of times since but hasn’t produced any more points in short activity.

There’s little doubt the 25-year old, Littleton, MA (that’s where we grew up) native, big body presence destroys scoring in the league he’s in and has received contracts and looks but it may just take one more season to secure that spot, if he even wants it.

Didn’t even take for the new 2021/2022 season to start and he gets recruited by Utah Grizzlies and will likely do very well.

In his rookie season in the upper league, he has a tidy 20 goals and 20 assists, but gets traded late in the frame to Orlando Solar Bears, who need to shore up their playoff spot before they look to go deep.

He will return where he finished last frame in Orlando but has been reassigned down to return to Fayettesville Markmen, where he has a goal in 3 games.

He blew up scoring in the lower league and was eventually loaned up to Norfolk Admirals, where he would get 14 goals and 5 assists in 25 games to prove himself worthy of a full look for 2023/2024.

Back in Worcester, he really wasn’t doing much through 6 games, so gets waived and immediately claimed by Reading Royals, who think they can turn the corner with him.
