He’s been a tad streaky scoring through youth hockey and high school, but the 20-year old looks to have found most of his stride in this D3 hockey frame with his impressive, hard working team, who have won some pretty big games this season.
Western New England University Golden Bears‘ junior right wing Brayden Patricia(13) has a new college best 6 goals and 6 assists in 19 games.
The 6′ 194 lbs. forward entered the transfer portal to come over from 2 years of very little use at Norwich University Cadets.
From Lopatcong, NJ, the 23-year old was a well over a point-per-game scorer in the EHL for 2 seasons.
We think he continues to connect and push it further as a senior.
Cornell University Big Red freshman defenseman Hoyt Stanley(5) is an Ottawa Senators‘ 4th round pick in the 2023 draft (#108 overall).
He is a big, pounding presence at 6’3″ 201 lbs.
The 18-year old played most of 2 BCHL seasons with Victoria Grizzlies.
He’s definitely one to watch.
Endicott College Gulls‘ senior defenseman James Davenport(14) traded out 3 seasons at Northeastern University Huskies, where he played 6 games in each of his sophomore and junior frames.
The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward wasn’t scoring points in Hockey East.
Through 13 games, in the current session he has 2 goals and 6 assists with a +8 rating.
The 23-year old, Natick, MA native seems looks pretty happy playing hockey out there.
Could he go for a year of eligibility?
Western New England University Golden Bears‘ senior center Matthew Dougherty(97) may not have quite the junior season he had after entering the transfer portal and coming over from 2 years of underuse at Stevenson University Mustangs.
Last year, the 6’1″ 185 lbs. forward had 7 goals and 15 assists in 26 games. Whereas, this year he’s struck for 3 goals and 8 helpers, so could get close to his best marks.
He twice ran up more than point-per-game numbers in the USPHL Elite and Premier with Richmond Generals.
The 24-year old, originally from Philadelphia, PA is still playing well for a team that doesn’t win enough games.
Collin Graf(51) has spent basically his entire career from youth hockey up through tier 2 juniors with Junior Bruins of the USPHL/NCDC scoring points.
He had a career campaign in last season’s weirdo run scoring 19 goals and 35 assists through 42 games for a team that took into the the final playoff rounds before conceding.
The 6′ 170 lbs. native of Lincoln, MA will take his show on the road next year as he commits to Union College for 2021/2022 and will be great in the ECAC.
He scores 11 goals and 11 assists in 37 NCAA Division 1 games and is switching schools to Quinnipiac University Bobcats for his sophomore year.
In 2 seasons at his new school he scored 42 goals and 55 assists in 75 games with a +54 rating.
No one expected him to stay for his full term of 4.
He signs a 3-year entry level deal as expected with top suitor, San Jose Sharks , where he is already out there and ready to dress for his 1st game on a team out of the playoff bubble.
In his 11th game of 2024/2025, he scores himself a 1st NHL goal.
He also has 2 assists.
Middlebury College Panthers‘ junior center Andrew Seaman(22) transferred from 2 years at Union College Bobcats, but played only 1 game last frame, so entered the transfer portal and found a new school.
He had 3 goals and 2 assists through 23 games as a freshman, and currently has 1 goals and new best 4 assists in 20, so is on pace for new college scoring bests.
The 5’10” 170 lbs. Winnetka, IL native played 2 BCHL seasons, scoring well for Prince George Spruce Kings.
At 23-years old, he looks happy on the ice where he’s at.
Long Island University Sharks‘ graduate defenseman Austin Rook(2) turns pro with the team right up the road from the 1st college he attended, Skidmore College Thoroughbreds, signing to Adirondack Thunder.
In 3 ECHL games he has no points.
In his senior year at his 1st college, he pulled off 8 goals and 14 assists in 23 games.
He 3 times has 10+ assists.
The 6’2′ 205 lbs. blue liner has definitely shown the potential to put up assist points.
26-years old from Shrewsbury, MA you know he’ll fight for every inch.
He takes a moment, but will return to Glens Falls, NY to continue his game.
Undrafted 4th year defenseman Hayden Shaw(82) takes 3 AHL contracts for Manitoba Moose and solid play in the ECHL for Trois-Riveries Lions last season, scoring 6 goals and 17 assists with a +5 in 33 games, then added another 5 points in 7 playoff contests to a 1-year deal with Nurnberg Ice Tigers of DEL for 2022/2023.
The 5’11” 194 lbs. blue liner is an accountable force, maintaining a +33 rating through 4 years at University Of North Dakota Fighting Hawks.
A Woodbury, MN native, the26-year old should do well in Germany’s top league.
In 46 games, he puts in 7 goals and 11 assists, which is good enough to secure him another year for the Ice Tigers.
He is liked in the town of Germany and signs up to stay through 2024/2025 and be an Ice Tigers.
2nd year left wing Stevie O’Connor(17) switches up teams, going over and maybe up slightly, signing with Kalix HC of Hockeyettan after starting a 2nd season for JHT Kalajoki in Suomi-sarja, the 3rd tier league in Finland.
He heads to Sweden’s similar level league.
The 6′ 190 lbs. forward from Marshfield, MA did 4 years at Wesleyan University Cardinals, only scoring decently as a senior assistant captain.
He did 1 season juniors with Boston Jr. Bruins USPHL/NCDC after graduating high school at Milton Academy.
The 25-year old is out there exploring pro hockey options quite nicely.
