The 6′ 185 lbs. blue liner is still working his way into a full slate of appearances.
Originally a Pittsburgh Penguins‘ 7th round pick in the 2014 draft (#203 overall), his high is 43 contests as a sophomore skater mostly for affiliate Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
The 4-year Union College graduate definitely can put up numbers, as he did through college, scoring 18 goals and 74 assists with a +33 rating in 149 ECAC games.
It’s definitely possible the 27-year old from Clifton Park, NY plays more of a stay at home style to help accountability, which he is a +1 for 78 games in the league.
He maybe takes a little bit of a sure bet contract for 2022/2023, agreeing to terms with close to home Adirondack Thunder for 2022/2023.
It would be little surprise to see him have really good success with the local team.

Northeastern University Huskies‘ 2022/2023 commit, defenseman Jackson Dorrington(16) is doing alright with 2nd year junior team, Des Moines Buccaneers, not scoring but 5 assists in 13 USHL games.
Last year with local to home team, Junior Bruins, the North Reading, MA native potted two goals and 18 big assists in 33 USPHL/NCDC games.
Scary to think the 6’2″ 192 lbs. 17-year old blue liner is draft eligible for 2022 and how quick or deep he may go.

It’s going to be exciting watching this still super young 19-year old get started.

No doubt, he’s a player that will get more looks.

He was selected after a stellar season with Steinbach Pistons, where he won the 2018 MJHL Championship and had a best GAA (2.06) with a 28-3-2 record.
The Steinbach, MB native should be able to vastly improve his numbers on a much better club.

After 17 seasons with the last three played in the top German league, DEL, Chris Bourque(17) announces that it’s time to hang up the skates.
He’s a veteran of 794 AHL games, scoring a quite impressive 251 goals and 495 assists with a +63 rating, 51 NHL games, 3 Hershey Bears’ Calder Cup Championships, 6 All-Star game appearances, twice most points, once most assists, one regular season MVP and once Playoff MVP.
The 5’8″ 176 lbs. forward worked for everything he ever got.
At 36-years old, we’re sure the former 1-year Boston University Terriers‘ d-man will find something good to do.

New York Rangers‘ 1st round pick in the 2009 draft (#9 overall), center Chris Kreider(20) scores 50 goals for the 1st time in his 10 year pro career.
He has scored 20+ goals 6 times.
The former Boston College Eagles‘ forward put up 23 goals and 22 assists in 44 games before deciding to leave a year of school on the table.
He signed a 7-year deal last season keeping him in NYC through 2026/2027.
Not bad deal for the team or 30-year old from Boxford, MA.

University Of Denver Pioneers‘ junior right wing Bobby Brink(24) already has a new best 15 assists and his 6 goals and 21 points are both en route to high marks set as a freshman and sophomore.
The small-ish, but quick and sturdy 5’9″ 165 lbs. forward is a Philadelphia Flyers‘ 2nd round pick in the 2019 draft (#34 overall) and could be playing himself into an entry level deal.
It will be interesting to see what the parent club wants to do with the 20-year old, Minnetonka, MN native.
Not surprising, the 2022 NCAA Division 1 hockey champ and leading scorer agrees to a 3-year NHL entry level deal to start this season, which will keep him a restricted free agent for plenty enough time.

9th year defenseman Mark Alt(3) gets traded in a minor league deal, going from San Jose Barracuda to Rochester Americans.
The big 6’4″ 201 lbs. blue liner has played 456 AHL games.
Originally a Carolina Hurricanes‘ 2nd round pick in the 2010 draft (#53 overall) traded to Philadelphia Flyers, as he was a junior at University Of Minnesota Golden Gophers.
He quickly signed a 3-year entry level deal.
The Kansas City, MO native has played under NHL contract for 5 different team, but only appeared in 20 games.
He’s definitely more of a stay-at-home d-man, but has struck for 20 assists once and 10+ 3 times.
It would definitely almost be a no-brainer for the 30-year old to look overseas for some different kind of fun and a next good contract to play under.
