Maine Nordiques‘ 2nd year defenseman David Helledy(11) rode some monster numbers with 8 goals and 32 assists in 48 NAHL games for 40 points with a +26 rating, breaking team scoring records for a d-man to a 2024/2025 commit for Bentley University Falcons.
The 6′ 181 lbs. blue liner is 20-years old from Milwaukee, WI.
Atlantic Hockey should welcome him.

Johnstown Tomahawks‘ 1st year defenseman Justin Gibson(6) commits 2024/2025 to Stonehill College Skyhawks.
The fairly sizable 6’1″ 190 lbs. blue liner did 2 BCHL junior seasons with Victoria Grizzlies before coming down.
In the NAHL, he has managed to slightly blow the lid off his scoring, 11 goals and 23 assists in 45 games with a +9 rating.
From Pittsburgh, PA, he did all his youth hockey in the Penguins‘ system, the 21-year old will definitely help his new D1 independent schedule club.

New Jersey 87’s 2nd year center Keaton Richards(14) commits to St. Anselm College Hawks for 2024/2025 after putting up a junior best 9 assists and 12 points in 31 EHL games this season.
The 6′ 171 lbs. forward from Amarillo, TX may be able to take up his scoring in NE-10 play, but it could equally challenge the 21-year old.
We think he finds footing.

Johnson & Wales’ University Wildcats‘ 2024/2025 commit, right wing Cullen Hennessy(22) will take a new EHL junior best 11 assists and 16 points in 40 games with Boston Jr. Rangers to his new school.
The 5’11” 165 lbs. forward played last year for Express Hockey Club and had 1 more goal at 6 than he currently has, but that could change in a game.
From Webster, NY, the 20-year old will be a welcome addition to NEHC play.

Air Force Academy Falcons‘ graduate defenseman Luke Rowe(41) takes a college career best 23 assists and 29 points to a 1st pro AHL contract with Ontario Reign.
The fairly big 6’1″ 209 lbs. blue liner from Succasunna, NJ worked his way up from 2 EHL seasons with New Jersey Rockets to sticking with the team as they transitioned a move to the USPHL/NCDC that he did an final impactful frame for with Junior Bruins, as captain striking for 11 goals and 26 assists in 50 games.
He was actually an invite to New Jersey Devils‘ development camp before the start of last season.

Railers Jr. Hockey Club 2nd year left wing Chase Carney(11) will join 1st year D3 hockey program at Keene State College Owls for 2024/2025.
The 6’3″ 196 lbs. forward scored a new best (by 1) 7 goals and tied his 14 assists in 41 EHL games this season.
From Lynnfield, MA, the 20-year old must be excited to start with the new team this year.

Boston College Eagles‘ 2nd year defenseman (transferred from St. Lawrence) Ben Finkelstein(28) is off to a hot start as a rookie with his new club, Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
In 18 ECHL games, he’s grabbed 4 goals from the point and 13 assists with a solid +4 rating on a team that has been somewhat of a discovery mode for this odd season.
The 5’9″ 181 lbs. blue liner could easily gain a look on loan to an AHL team.
Through 35 games as a rookie, he scored 11 goals and 21 assists with a +11 rating, and got signed up by Toronto Marlies, but played the entire 2021/2022 frame with Newfoundland Growlers, where he equaled his 11 goals, but exploded his assists to a league best 51.
His good play has given him a new AHL deal with Iowa Wild for 2022/2023, but we doubt he’ll be assigned lower for his sophomore effort.
After managing his way into only 6 games with his new team, recording 1 assist, he has decided to push off and join Vienna Capitals for the remainder of the season, and we think the d-man’s game will be well-suited for Austria’s top league, the IceHL.
He scores 10 goals and 14 assists in 23 games to earn a new deal with Eisbären Berlin and is heading to Germany to play in DEL.
After 15 assists in 37 games, the 26-year old decides to retire, based on personal reasons that we are sure will surface eventually, but it’s a sad day for the former Eagles.

Vermont Lumberjacks‘ 2nd year EHL center, captain Brandon Manning(93) boosted his game from the EHLP last season, where he posted a staggering 26 goals and 39 assists in 42 games.
The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward commits to St. Anselm College Hawks for 2024/2025.
From Chandler, AZ, in the current frame the 20-year old has 16 goals and 22 assists in 43 games that should help the NE-10 team score more.

The 6’2″ 194 lbs. blue liner looks likely to make the team as a freshman with his big play style.
From Ridgefield, CT, the 19-year old is stepping in kind of early, but must feel ready.
