He has gotten his opportunity to shine though in 2 AHL appearances delivering a pair of wins, including a debut shut out for a .50 GAA and .983 SV%.

The one-time NAHL Goaltender Of The Year in 2016, right before committing to college, the 25-year old has always seemed to work hard for any credit but has to have Washington Capitals step in and offer him an NHL entry level deal, as he is firmly on their radar.

For his efforts backstopping the Bears to a 12th Calder Cup Championship, he is rewarded with a 2-year, 2-way deal that is worth some handsome money wherever he throws on those pads.

He gets to start a 1st game, as the big club is out to a bit of a wobbly start and gets the W in a 6-4 contest, stopping 18 of 22 shots to potentially get a 2nd nod in another night.

His 2-1-1 record wasn’t bad, although maybe his numbers could have improved, but for a 2nd straight season with the affiliate, he posts a 27-4-3 record with a 1.76 GAA and .929 SV% to earn himself the Baz Bastien Award as the AHL’s Most Outstanding Goaltender and will once again look to push his club deep in the playoffs.

From Trois Rivieres, QC, the 19-year scored his 1st goal with his new team and added 2 assists in his Hockey East debut.

We see how long he stays.

Through 26 games, he scores 3 goals and 14 assists, but his draft club sees something they want to add into the mix immediately, so he signs a 3-year NHL entry level deal, starting 2026/2027.

From North Barrington, IL, the 18-year old follows 1 brother to the same school, as the other 1 left to turn pro.

Sophomore blue liner stockpiles a 2nd season of big points in 35 games with a +13 rating that he takes to a 3-year NHL entry level deal with his draft club that will start immediately.

In his debut, he skates 21 shifts for 16:24 of ice time, including 3 shots, 1 giveaway and a 1st empty net goal to start his pro career.

Augsburger Panther‘ left wing TJ Trevelyan(24) signs on for what must be a record for one player, 15th season with the club.

The 5’9″ 172 lbs. forward did 5 years of the AHL, scoring pretty big after graduating St. Lawrence University Skating Saints.

From Mississauga, ON, the 41-year old doesn’t want to quit.

But after a career low 20 games played for 4 goals and 3 assists, he ticks another year and decides it’s time.

In all likelihood, he should stay with the club he has mostly been with.

From Tampa, FL, the 24-year looks to figure into all games with the team this season.

He plays a college best 30 games, scoring a tie for his 2 goals, but 18 assists blows away that category for him.

When their new indy tournament play concludes, he signs with Jacksonville Icemen and has a 1st ECHL goal in 2 games with a +1 rating.

RPI Engineers‘ junior defenseman Max Smolinski(24) enters the transfer portal after a college high 5 goals and 10 assists in 35 games to next skate at St. Cloud State University Huskies as a senior, 2025/2026.

His heading closer to home for the “final” year for the 23-year old son of former NHL-er Bryan Smolinski.

He wraps up at his new school with a new college best 6 goals and 12 assists in 35 games and takes these totals to a 1st pro contract with Cincinnati Cyclones.
